The Video Footage of Preschool Graduation

Preschool Graduation

The Class of 2026

He was so happy when we walked in, to the "Graduation Song" no less. Hands in his pockets as he scoured the audience until he found us. Then he lit up even more and started waving like crazy!

The entire class recited the Pledge of Allegiance for us. It still amazes me at how fast young kids can memorize a long paragraph. Pure repetition. But he had this one conquered early last fall.

Lots of funny songs were performed. They yawned, held their breath, brushed their teeth, went on a bear hunt and shook their sillies out.

I need to write a personal thank you to Mrs. Walls for making the ceremony extremely fun and not sappy. I was totally prepared to bawl my eyes out the entire hour. But instead she started the diploma receiving line with the song, "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" where the kids shouted "Let's Get Ready to Graddddd-uate!" One by one she called their names and they came up to get their diploma. The ceremony ended with a slide show of all the activities through out the year. It's fun to see what your kids are up to during the day after you drop them off. Seeing them having fun, smiling and learning makes you feel that much better about the whole experience.

After four years of driving my kids to preschool, this retired papa is really retired. Well at least until next week when he starts taking the kids on Mondays and Tuesdays all day...but other than that, he's retired.
Both years with Parker and Emmitt we connected with another family to ride share. Parker and Kaylee are still best buds! Andrew and Emmitt are as close as brothers and Papa Milo has a special place in his heart for his new little buddy. I think they both may suffer from cookie withdrawals too. Every day these two were given a special treat, either a cookie or a doughnut hole.

 His favorite of all...Mrs. Walls
It is truly amazing all the changes that have taken place these last 9 months. He has grown physically and emotionally. He says some of the funniest things, comes up with clever ideas and processes what he has learned and applied it to every day life. It is so fun to watch!
