How to Get Mermaid Hair with 4 Easy Ingredients

 Mermaid Hair Don't Care

Always be yourself. Unless you can be a mermaid. Then always be a mermaid.


This is an insanely easy recipe to make! You need 3 essential oils and witch hazel. That's it.

Obs I use Young Living and the 3 oils you need are lavender, cedarwood + rosemary.


Seriously so simple. Add the essential oils to a 4 ounce glass spray bottle, fill the rest with witch hazel and spray on wet or dry hair for that beachy mermaid look.

Make & Take | Hockey Mom Style

Let's face it...no matter what age your hockey player is, they STINK! Their gloves stink after the first week of practice when they are four! 

So we hockey moms came together and busted out some AMAZING recipes!

 These hockey bag balls are amazing for taking the smell out of the bag. And of COURSE they are going to play with them in a game of shinny! But they are TIME consuming! I would loved to have budgeted wool dryer balls and just given everyone them, but the Bronco colors were a must and the skeins of yarn were only $6 each. Just LOTS and lots of time went into them! Either way, just a drop or two of purification oil on the ball and toss it in the bag!
 Bag spray is a MUST! I typically only spray it down after a tourney weekend and always at the end of the season. I have backed down on the baking soda a little, but if you see white dots all over the gear, just dust them off. YUM!
 LOVE the detergent. I do not dilute it. I have boys and tough stains so I keep it straight up and wash all of our laundry in this mixture. The whole 5 gallon pail costs like $10! WAY cheaper than the Natural Detergent I was forking over a ton of money for!
 So I tossed up making "So Sore" or "Relax Momma" bombs. We ended up making both the night of the party. For the relax I used Orange, Ylang Ylang, and Lavender. The first two are for libido too :) but it is an amazing mixture! These take awhile to set, so make them first if you have a make & take. Store in an air tight container. And baggies will expand if you store them in there!
 Mimics the bath bombs. Valor, Panaway and Peppermint are AWESOMESAUCE for pain! Lemongrass has a strong smell, but everyone wanted it in the cream, so we went for it! 
 Last but not least, the BEST recipe for hand sanitizer! It's smooth and moisturizing! And smells amazing! And my boys love it best because it doesn't sting! I've made little containers for them to keep in their desk and school bags!

Young Living NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse. Day FIVE is complete!! I did it!!

I DID IT! This is the evening of day FIVE of the the NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living. I MADE IT! I was successful and managed to tackle FIVE days of just shakes, ningxia red and digest & cleanse, without the optional snacks!

Like always, I weighed in this morning and am down another pound, for a total of 6.5 pounds in four days. I'm excited to weigh in tomorrow and see what five full days of cleansing did! I'll post a recap video diary this week and let you know how it went introducing foods back into my system.

I completed five days of the three "meals" of Digest + Cleanse (at least 30-60 minutes before the shake) and a big glass of water, Balance Complete Shake and 1-2 oz of Ningxia Red. I drank the recommended water in between meals but chose not to do the snacks.

Today I noticed I was "hangry." I was crabby and wasn't sure if it was from being home all day or making more than just supper for my family. But I will totally make sure this is a Monday-Friday thing next time. I feel like being home let my mind think about food more than when I am at work.

And of course it took five full days for "things to move." But YEAH, finally!

Young Living NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse. Day FOUR complete!

Here I am on evening FOUR of the the NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living. Just one day left. Today I felt great and am ready to see how my body will adjust when I start eating solid foods again.

I weighed in this morning and am down another pound for a total of 5.5 pounds. While I should be excited about losing 5.5 pounds in three days, I was hoping for more than one pound moving on the scale. I am sore from lifting yesterday so I am thinking that I may have some water retention while those muscles are repairing themselves.

I completed the three "meals" of Digest + Cleanse (at least 30-60 minutes before the shake) and a big glass of water, Balance Complete Shake and 1-2 oz of Ningxia Red. I drank the recommended water in between meals but chose not to do the snacks.

The hunger between meals is decreasing. I'm not sure if my body is used to it or if it's more mental will power. Either way, I'm glad I chose to do the first five days without the optional snacks.

I am still not experiencing the gas and bloating more than usual. A little nervous to start introducing real foods back into my body and what will happen. I plan on easing back into it with still doing a shake or two a day.

Here I am on evening THREE of the the NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living. I finally have WAY more energy and am feeling really good!

So first things first, I weighed in this morning and am down another 2 pounds for a total of 4.5 pounds. Way pumped about that!

I completed the three "meals" of Digest + Cleanse (at least 30-60 minutes before the shake) and a big glass of water, Balance Complete Shake and 1-2 oz of Ningxia Red. I drank the recommended water in between meals but chose not to do the snacks.

I was still a little hungry between the shakes, but less than the last two days. I stuck to just drinking water all day today. I did add peppermint to the water to try to change up the flavor and to see if it would help get things moving.

I was able to lift today in an arm class and had my shake right before I worked out I felt way better during and after the workout! So those extra calories were needed to exercise!

I am still not experiencing the gas and bloating more than usual. II had no headache today so that is a bonus!

Young Living NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse. Day Two

Here I am on evening TWO of the the NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living. I MADE IT!

So first things first, I weighed in this morning and am down 2.5 pounds. Super excited to see the scale move in the right direction! I am certain it is all water weight, but I am also loving not having water retention. My rings are loose and I am craving salty foods!

I completed the three "meals" of Digest + Cleanse (at least 30-60 minutes before the shake) and a big glass of water, Balance Complete Shake and 1-2 oz of Ningxia Red. I drank the recommended water in between meals but chose not to do the snacks.

I was still hungry between the shakes, but relied more on tea today than anything. Just a simple herbal, non-caffeinated tea. I need the warmth it provides on these super cold MN days.

I am still not experiencing the gas and bloating more than usual. I also did not experience the headache nearly as bad as yesterday. I was super happy about that. It was there just a bit, but totally tolerable and I used far less oils today for the pain.

I did try a noon workout and struggled. I just didn't have the energy. It was a Core/Back class and it was still challenging. I hadn't had my shake until after my class and I maybe would have felt better had I drank it before I worked out. And I was a little worried about farting in class while doing a bunch of sit ups, so I put my mat in the back :)

And today I address the big elephant in the room. Pooping. Or not pooping. I totally think every one could do this cleanse while working, at home, working out, etc...

Here I am on evening one of the the NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living.

I survived! Maybe not the best word to use, but I totally feel like I made it and I'm glad!

I completed the three "meals" of Digest + Cleanse (at least 30-60 minutes before the shake) and a big glass of water, Balance Complete Shake and 1-2 oz of Ningxia Red. I drank the recommended water in between meals but chose not to do the snacks.

I will admit I was hungry between the shakes. Not enough that I felt like I had to eat the snacks, but had I packed them with me at work, I may have eaten them.

I am not experiencing the gas and bloating more than usual. I am experiencing the headache (almost all day) and I was super tired and yawned all day. So I'm not sure if that is from the lack of calories, no caffeine or what, but I'm hoping the recommended increase in energy tomorrow comes!

I am super excited to start my day! I started off with my Digest + Cleanse and a big glass of water.
Then I had my shake and Ningxia Red. I have my lunch shake/Ningxia and Digest + Cleanse all packed up and ready to take to work with me.

It's HEEEERRRREEE! My NEW 5-Day Nutritive Cleanse by Young Living has arrived! I had to jump in and read all the info to prepare for tomorrow!! Barrett and I are both going to be doing this for the next 5 days! I am excited to kick start my metabolism, curb my cravings and lose some weight! I'll be posting video diaries for each day so you can follow along on our journey! Here's hoping we aren't totally crabby and angry with each other the whole 5 days. I think not eating real food may actually be the scariest part of this whole thing. But I love that we are going to try it together!
